'ROME FOOD TOUR | STREET FOOD IN ITALY We\'re in Rome, Italy! In this 3 part series we\'re exploring Italy\'s capital city to hunt down the best local food. Rome has a distinct cuisine- one based on nose to tail eating, punchy bold flavours, fresh ingredients prepared simply and they love their street food. This is our third video from Rome and we\'re eating street food plus showing you some traditional Roman foods. We start in the Jewish Ghetto and visit one of the most historic pastry shops in the city to sample their ricotta and cherry cake. This kosher bakery is famous for their cake which features creamy ricotta, wild sour cherries and a crumbly pastry. Next up we head to a heritage, hole in the wall spot serving porchetta- a whole pig which is de-boned, seasoned, rubbed with rosemary, rolled and roasted. Er Buchetto is a 6th generation shop which brings its porchetta in from Arricia- a village outside of Rome famous for its porchetta. We eat a porchetta panino- slices of juicy pork stuffed into a crusty roll. It is SENSATIONAL. It\'s then time for a long lunch of pasta at a neighbourhood trattoria which does the best pasta we ate in our week long stay in Rome. Finally it\'s off to a Roman pizza joint to sample the classic thin and crispy Roman pizza. What a day of eating!
